Pace Kit provides simple browser-based tools for runners. We designed the site to collect as little data as possible.
The Heat Run Advisor may request your device’s location (via the browser Geolocation API) so it can fetch local weather conditions. This happens only with your explicit permission. Location coordinates are sent directly from your browser to the weather provider (Open-Meteo) and are not stored by Pace Kit on any server.
Some preferences (such as temperature unit °F/°C) are saved in your browser’s localStorage so they persist between visits. This data never leaves your device.
We may use privacy-friendly analytics or display advertisements (for example via Google AdSense) in the future. Any advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo. Place-name lookups may use OpenStreetMap Nominatim or similar public services. These services have their own privacy practices.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on the GitHub repository.
